Hi, I’m Bridget Barrett.
I’m a PhD student and Roy H. Park Fellow at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a graduate affiliate with the Center for Information, Technology and Public Life (CITAP).
I’m interested in the intersection of digital marketing and politics, like how technologies developed for the commercial advertising industry impact political messaging online. How does this impact campaigning, elections, and people’s understanding of politics?
